Carolina HVAC & Electrical
Carolina HVAC & Electrical is looking for an experienced Electrical Manager to lead and grow our Electrical Department.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the electrical trade, knows how to lead people, and takes ownership of results. We’re looking for a manager who can develop a strong team, improve operations, maintain high-quality standards, and help us continue building a department that is organized, profitable, and ready to grow.
What You'll Do
As our Electrical Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day performance of the Electrical Department, including service and installation.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and hold electrical team members accountable
- Oversee electrical service and installation operations
- Help manage scheduling, manpower, and job assignments
- Monitor job quality, callbacks, inspections, and customer concerns
- Ensure work meets company standards and applicable electrical codes
- Develop electricians, helpers, apprentices, and future leaders
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Monitor department revenue, profitability, labor efficiency, and job costing
- Improve processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency
- Oversee department safety and compliance
- Coordinate material, equipment, inventory, and tool needs
- Work closely with our Operations Manager and office team
- Participate in leadership meetings and company planning
- Help establish and achieve department goals and KPIs
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong electrical trade knowledge
- Electrical leadership, management, or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of electrical codes, permitting, and inspections
- Experience leading and developing field employees
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to hold people accountable respectfully and consistently
- An understanding of job costing, productivity, and profitability
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- A customer-first mindset
- A desire to build and grow a successful electrical department
Appropriate electrical licensing and certifications are strongly preferred.
The Right Person
Technical knowledge matters, but leadership matters just as much.
The right Electrical Manager won't simply put out fires all day. We want someone who can build a team, create accountability, develop people, improve systems, and solve problems at their root.
You should be comfortable setting expectations, having difficult conversations when necessary, recognizing great performance, and helping employees grow in their careers.

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
